Greetings everyone from Lake Texoma and Striper Express Guide Service. These cold fronts followed by warm days have the stripers slowly moving up the rivers and creeks. The sand bass are fooled and all egged up ready to spawn. 2nd time in my career i've seen happen. More fish is always a bonus. Sassy shad been king but having some luck with buckhair jigs and flukes. The winter bite is close but there are still thousands of gulls all over the lake to help locate feeding schools. One day it's all pearl then the next all chartruese so try it all if your not getting hits. Also dip those tails in spike-it garlic dip.

Big Fish of the Week a good looking 12 lber.

The live bait fishing in great on river ledges. The tabletop been hot for over a month. Drop down bait and they will come. Almost don't have to mark any but the fish are roaming, hungry and aggressive. Shad are easy to get early under lights or later in the day in creeks.

The water temperature of Lake texoma is 64 degrees with an elevation of 619.50 ft. The past several weeks of striper fishing has been outstanding. I have mainly fished live bait the past couple of weeks with a few lure fishing trips. I would have to say at this time the live bait fishing is definately better. I have fished west of highport Marina and back to the north in 35-45 feet of water with great catches in both direction. We are starting to see the fish put on weight and are not catching near as many skinny fish and the smaller fish are chunks.

Greetings everyone from Lake Texoma and Striper Express Guide Service. This fall fishing is just fantastic! Gulls and schools are all over the lake. Fish are on structure and in the creeks. Stripers are roaming the flats…seeing the pattern here? Sassy shad has been getting us easy limits on most days. On some days they want chartreuse then the next day white glo or pearl. Spike-it dip been helpful on most days.

The live bait fishing is awesome as well. Shad are easy to get early in most marinas early or in the backs f some creeks later in the day. Drifting or on anchor is working just get the fish under you. Heard reports of all depths but 20-40ft along the river channel near some activity always a sure bet this time of year.

Water Temp: 68      Lake Elevation: 619.68

We are experiencing the best fishing we have had in six months RIGHT NOW! The unseasonably warm temperatures are bringing some very nice boxes of fish to the table. The lake water has begun to cool which brings great fishing all day long and will continue until the water temperature gets below 40 degress. The stripers are still hitting pencil poppers on topwater until about thirty minutes after the sun rises. Overcast days will allow for more topwater action until 9 or 10am. The stripers are feeding and are very active right now. We have brought lots of nice stripers over 10 lbs. to the cleaning tables and plenty of box fish. After the topwater action, the silversides are biting on soft bait sassy shad. 12-16” stripers are being caught “all over” the lake right now. Anchoring drop offs 18-24’ have been producing great box fish on live bait.

We continue to use pencil poppers and soft plastic lures for all you lure fishermen, however every boat that leaves our dock is stocked with plenty of live bait.

Our morning trips for those interested in top water action begin at 5:45am. Afternoon trips begin @ 1pm.

Hello from the big lake! Fishing remains excellent despite all this pretty weather. Both shifts are good right now & the fish are schooled up all over the lake. Sassy shad in glo, pearl and chartruese has been all we are throwing at them. Retrieves can change by the minute so fast, slow and somewhere in between. Don't be afraid to burn em.

A trophy striper was caught from the bank at night under the full moon this last week. 31.2 pounds and almost a lake record. Fish ate a fluke on a jig-head. Congrats to Biddy on his awesome catch and to the lake for producing it!

Lake Texoma is beautiful these days, with the water temp at 67; levels at 620.53; gates closed; sunrise, 6:49a and sunset 5:31p. We are catching our limits each trip, with fish gradually getting bigger, but still somewhat skinny. Trying to depart right at sunrise, hitting a few banks with artificial, for trophy fish, and checking some jug lines for those customers who request juglines. Going to be on the windy side this weekend 15-25 winds, and hoping can get at point where wind is not a problem. Fishing is good and think a new record striper was caught just recently. My dream is to get someone that new record for striper on Lake Texoma. "J.D."

November fishing on Lake Texoma is a prime time to go striper fishing. Huge schools of striped bass are roaming the lake. Some of the fish will tip the scales at 15+ lbs. Thousands of seagulls are on the lake for the fall and winter. The water has cooled down and you can go fishing anytime of the day. Sassy Shad jigs are the baits of choice. You can use a 1-ounce jig head with a 4-inch whiteglo or chartreuse soft plastic tail. You need a good pair of binoculars to locate the different schools of fish that the birds are “working”. Your favorite fishing hotspots are the North Island area, west to the Willis Bridge.

Your fishing adventure awaits you with Striper Express. Now through the end of the year is considered the best fishing of the year. This is perfect for company trips, your family and friends.  You can purchase gift certificates for any occasion.
