The fishing is still great but bait in my area is mostly non-existent.   I have traveled some l hour to find it for my pending fishing trips.   We have been anchoring on a ledge, 47-55 feet. and fish stayed with us, til we limited, and then burned bait, staying out on the water for the enjoyment of it.

Big fish are skinny, but the combinations of fish, giving lots of filets, to take home.    The weather was cold this week, but the weekend turned out nice.    Believe this Winter will be good all way to Spring.     I am going to take a break for few weeks, hopefully going to see my grandkids in California .   Good fishing…....JD
